Stuart joined Gladman in April 2013, to provide critical analysis of five year housing land supplies, monitoring and evaluating emerging policy documents and identifying sustainable sites for development in key local authority target areas in the South East, many of which have now come forward to planning application. Stuart has since become heavily involved in supporting applications which have gone to appeal including preparing appeal documentation and undertaking negotiations with local authorities, primarily in Northamptonshire.
Stuart graduated from the University of Manchester with a Master in Town and Country Planning. Whilst there he spent some time at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying aspects of the American planning system and community regeneration projects in East St. Louis.
Before joining Gladman Stuart previously worked for the Environmental Strategy team at Manchester City Council.
In his spare time, Stuart plays korfball (a mixed sex sport, with aspects of basketball and netball combined) for Manchester Hawks and gets out on his road bike whenever he can.
