Robert commenced work with Gladman during February 2013. He currently looks after a portfolio of sites across the southern portion of the country, ranging from Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Telford and Cheshire, to ensure the schemes successful obtain planning permission.
Robert has worked within the housebuilding industry all of his career. Initially, 15 years with Bloor homes in Tamworth and Wilmslow as a Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, where he attended Nottingham Trent University as a part time student and gained a degree in Quantity Surveying. He then spent time with Countryside Properties as a Senior QS looking after developments across the North West. Then, Robert spent the last 9 years at Taylor Woodrow/Wimpey as Regional Estimator and Commercial Manager working closely with the land team acquiring sites for the North West regional office and with the Strategic Land team.
Robert enjoys getting out into the countryside with a lifelong interest in wildlife especially birdwatching and has travelled widely across the country birding. He enjoys most sports especially football and cricket supporting West Bromwich Albion, but unfortunately does not get along to many games. Robert also enjoys a good pint of real ale and go to as many beer festivals and good pubs that his constitution will allow.
