Richard joined Gladman Developments in July 2014 having graduated from the University of Manchester in July 2013 with a Masters in Town and Country Planning.

Richard’s role as a land planner requires him to monitor emerging planning policy and provide detailed analysis of planning authorities housing supply figures. This work is vital in identifying potential sustainable sites throughout England and feeds into the site appraisal process Richard undertakes. His role in the Land Team also involves attending meetings with landowners and land agents.

Following graduation Richard spent a year working as a lettings agent prior to joining the team at Gladman. Richard is currently working towards his professional membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Outside of work he has a number of interests including keeping active, outdoor pursuits and attending music concerts and festivals.
