Rachael Evans

Senior Project Manager


Rachael joined Gladman Developments as a Project Manager in June 2016. Rachael is responsible for managing the outline planning application process for residential developments.

Rachael’s role includes site appraisal and due diligence works prior to acquisition, identifying the scope of supporting information necessary to promote a site; the appointment and co-ordination of multidisciplinary external consultants and in-house expertise; financial control of projects; liaising with land owners, statutory authorities and other key stakeholders for the successful promotion of strategic housing land through the planning system.

Prior to joining Gladman, Rachael worked in Cheshire West and Chester Council as a Planning Officer, responsible for the assessment of a varied caseload of planning applications and consents across the Borough as well as engaging in pre-application discussions and negotiations with applicants.

Rachael has 6 years Local Authority experience having previously worked in Halton Borough Council and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council development control teams. Rachael gained a Master’s Degree in Town and Country Planning from the University of Manchester and is a Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys swimming, scuba diving and going on all-inclusive holidays!
