Pet joined Gladman in January 2013. Pet’s role includes identifying the scope of supporting information necessary to promote a site; the appointment and co-ordination of external consultants and in-house expertise; financial control of projects; liaising with land owners, statutory authorities and other key stakeholders for the promotion of strategic housing land through the planning system.
Prior to joining, Pet worked for Cheshire West & Chester Borough Council in Winsford as a Senior Planning Officer responsible for the processing of a varied caseload of planning applications across the Borough including major residential and commercial development, including pre-application discussions with applicants and developers and acting as the Council’s witness at Informal Hearings. She has 21 years of Local Authority experience, having been employed by Vale Royal Borough Council, Derbyshire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, the East Midlands Regional Planning Forum and Moray District Council in strategic and development management planning teams.
Pet is a qualified Town Planner holding a BSC (Hons) Degree in Town & Regional Planning from Dundee University. She is a corporate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Her spare time is spent with friends and family, she loves to cook, is a Parish Councillor and also runs a village Youth Club.
