Neil started in the role as Assistant Project Manager at the start of May 2018. His role revolves around the preparation of planning applications, co-ordination of projects and controlling of budgets. Previous to this he worked for 8 months at Gladman as a Researcher, his tasks involved strategically finding appropriate, developable land in the most sustainable locations.
Neil went to the University of Salford as a mature student in 2014 where he acquired first class honours in Geography, while also being presented the award of best dissertation following his research into the effects of tourism in Cambodia. This research stemmed from his love of travelling and experiencing other cultures, which was enabled by his previous career as a chef. He began as a chef part time while studying for a HND in Music, this then turned into a 12-year career, including stints living in Spain and Australia, before returning to manage kitchens around his home town of Birmingham.
Outside of work and travel, Neil loves discovering new music and playing guitar at open mic nights and events. He also plays football and is a huge West Bromwich Albion supporter, despite their recent relegation.
