Lucy came to the planning profession from a previous life working with horses (she has a degree in Equine Studies and Business Management!) After re-training and becoming a professional member of the RTPI she worked in both local government and the private sector including GVA, Deloitte (formerly Drivers Jonas), Cotswold District Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
She has provided professional planning advice to the private and public sector for several years and worked on a broad range of development projects focusing primarily on large scale housing and mixed use schemes. Lucy has considerable experience in all aspects of Development Management and Planning Policy and, in particular, major planning applications and appeals.
Lucy is a member of the RTPI and holds a PG Diploma in Town Planning from Birmingham City University. She is also a member of the Institute of Environmental Managers.
Outside of work Lucy enjoys travelling and is a keen skier and rider. She is also a qualified riding instructor.
