James joined Gladman in May 2012 and was originally responsible for sourcing and securing strategic residential development opportunities across England. He now primarily manages the subsequent disposal of sites once they have received planning consent.
Following ‘A’ levels, a gap year spent teaching English in East Africa and his History degree at University College London, James joined George Wimpey Plc as a graduate trainee in 2000. He spent time in all areas of the business across the UK and USA before specialising in a land acquisition role covering West London, Surrey and the Thames Valley. He moved back to the North West in 2005 and spent the ensuing 7 years acquiring sites across the North West of England and North Wales before joining Gladman.
Away from work James likes to watch and participate in a wide range of sports, read and spend time with his wife running around after their two young children.
