Ed joined Gladman in October 2018 and is primarily responsible for sourcing and securing residential development sites in the east and south east of England.
Following a year spent on a ski season in the French Alps and sailing in Greece, Ed went on to graduate from Oxford Brookes University in Real Estate Management. Ed started his professional career in Investment Management, qualifying as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Ed then joined the strategic land team at Countryside Properties, securing strategic sites capable of accommodating 300+ dwellings across the south east of England and qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. More recently Ed has been working for Barratt David Wilson, predominantly acquiring immediate sites for development across the east of England. His past experiences in the immediate and strategic land markets has given him an invaluable knowledge of how best a landowner’s asset can be optimised by partnering with a land promoter.
Outside of work Ed is a keen skier, sailor and shot. He is also an enthusiastic sportsman, enjoying tennis and squash, as well as playing for his local hockey team when he’s not being kept busy with his young family.
