Debra joined Gladman in May 2007 as Marketing Executive for the Commercial Marketing department, to assist in the preparation and distribution of promotional material and organising the launch events.
Transferring to the Adlington Sales and Marketing team in August 2008, her main role for the next 4 years focused on the market research, sales and promotion of the flagship apartment developments in North Wales and Heaton Chapel. Again, she was involved in producing marketing literature, advertising campaigns, show suite signage, monitoring customer interest and arranging open days and exhibitions.
In her current position as Land Coordinator in the Land Team, Debra is engaged in the creation of promotional literature and postal/email campaigns and is responsible for updating the Land website. She also manages the numerous hospitality events for the team.
Debra assists the Land Buyers, collating site information and generating literature details for prospective landowner partnerships. She also manages the site searching and client databases, and monitors the progression of pipeline sites and enquiries from external parties. Alongside this, Debra liaises closely with also the Project Management and Legal teams.
Debra’s earlier career included marketing roles for a major newspaper publisher, a leading contract hire company, with a brief interlude working for Walt Disney World at the Epcot Centre in Florida. For 9 years, she was Office Manager of an Educational Book Showroom and Sales team. Debra has recently passed the CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing and is soon looking to complete the Level 6 Diploma.
She likes MotoGP, hiking, badminton, skiing and negating the exercise pursuits with a good red wine!
